It’s Thursday.

If you’re not reading this on a Thursday then that sentence is a lie. If you are, then you’re either a huge fan of my blog and reading it immediately or you’ve managed to come to this blog on a Thursday. Which, now that I’m thinking about it, isn’t that crazy of an occurrence given the fact that there are only 7 days in a week.

Well…that was a good use of 67 words. If you couldn’t tell by that little bit of comedic genius I took some classes and eventually went through the conservatory at Second City. If you’re big on comedy than Second City is probably one of the comedic meccas in the US and happens to allow young slightly chubby Hispanic males pay money to take courses in “the funnies”.

One such class brought me face to face and, at times, lip to lip (Lips to Lips?) with my good friend and writing partner Ethan. Ethan has a last name but in order to protect his identity from what I can only imagine are hoards of ex-girlfriends I won’t write it here.

In addition to writing together E and I started a podcast called “Don’t Quote me“. (If you can’t tell by the sudden blue text that’s a link to our facebook page…which you should like…or don’t, I’m not your dad. Or am I?)

It’s a podcast about nothing. Really, we just talk about subjects that we have little or no knowledge about and promise to do no research about it prior to getting drunk and discussing it.  As you might expect it’s a real kick in the throat kinda good.

We’d taken a hiatus due to life and things of that nature, but we started back at it again in the past few weeks.

We actually recorded tonight, and I am very happy we did. After an extremely long day that started at about two am when I woke up due to crushing anxiety and general fear I walked to E’s apartment and opened up the door to two cans of beer and a Microphone. We talked, and we laughed and we recorded another episode. And it was good.

We’ll release the new episodes soon, and when we do I hope you’ll listen. Except for you mom…I swear a lot. And while I may or may not have learned those words from you…you probably should avoid them.

Ok, well the third episode of Beat Bobby Flay just came on and Lester is about to fall asleep, so I should probably head to bed…Kisses yall
